In the event that the unthinkable may happen and nuclear war should break out there are three types of targets that the average citizen needs to know about

these are targets that if not already gone will be on the list to be taken out (either by a bomber or additional missile strikes). Secondary targets include but are not limited to:
Tertiary targets are major population industrial centers and as such, are the most dreaded. Other targets included in this is any remaining long stretch of highway road that could be used to land and refuel planes such as interstate highways.
Primary Targets
Primary targets are targets that will be hit on the first salvo of missiles. These targets include:- Missile silos (active, abandoned and refurbished silo homes)
- bomber bases
- submarine bases
- Major command and control centers
- Early warning radar stations
- Major communications centers

- Major military bases
- Major governmental centers (state capitals)
- Major transportation centers
- Major sea ports
- Abandoned bases
- Nuclear power plants
- Airports and anything with a runways greater than 5500 feet
- Power plants
- Dams
- Abandoned military bases
