wasps. are like spiders in the sense they are poisonous. with one difference the venom lies in the stinger not the actual fangs. unlike bees or hornets. wasps can sting as many times as they want. literally this makes them worse then a pack of bees or hornets. but most hornets can do the same. the only difference. is hornets do not always survive after using there stinger. depends on type. onto the subject. lets say humans experimented with wasp queen genetics. and turned a woman into one. how big would it be??. well i guess someone can figure that out. but to make it simple. the answer lies in the link i will put in this post.
notice that the wasp queen in the link was originally a woman. human female to be exact. now shes a overgrown wasp queen. not fully transformed yet. but the abdomen size is bigger then any wasp queen. or wasp for that matter. naturally. the stinger is going to pack a punch. ill leave it to others to ask and discuss this subject. besides i don't want to spoil anything else.

This topic seems to have a mix of both real and fantasy in it.

It is true that worker bees can only sting once and that the queen bees can sting repeatably because there is a small barb on the end of a worker bee's stinger.

It is also true that some hornets and wasp are feared. Take the Japanese hornet for example. It is huge and has a sting that one will not forget quickly.

As for the genetic manipulation I recall a few movies where this was done and the result was a half human, half wasp.

this thing looks dangerous for a wasp that is subdued.

I do watch anime and it kind of reminds me of the giant centipede at the beginning of Inuyasha.

Yes, it did. I believe that anime is classic of the good vs evil theme.
