with as many nuclear plants that there are in the US pray that nothing even close to what happened in Japan occurs on U.S. soil.
In the future please be more descriptive with your topic titles.

The latest earthquake in oklahoma was centered directly south of sparks (payson). Its magnitude was 4.8 and although not as strong as last nights whitch was registered at 5.4 it was still quite a shock for some.

====edit====
in oklahoma i live near the fault
I wasn't aware of any actual faults in oklahoma but most of the epicenters appear to be near a little town called sparks. Anyone have any additional info on this?
Its also interesting that the first one was centered about 4-7 blocks from the cemetary (boooo!) :affraid:

Why yes ofcourse. every state has faults in it and oklahoma is no different. Since 1977 there have actually been over 1700 ones that were big enough that people noticed. Infact there are so many each day in oklahoma that go unnoticed that its kind of shocking so lets talk about that for a second.
According to the Oklahoma Geological Survey, between 1977 and 2005 there were approximately 58.655 each year. The only difference between those and the ones this month is that they have a greater magnitude so you can actually feel them. Bearing this in mind, its not a cause for fear or alarm but something that will more than likely pass in a week or two. ( I will correct myself if a giant volcanoe appears out of the ground and starts spewing lava )

As I explained earlier, there are many of them each year but you dont feel them so the answer is probably never, but you should definately notice a decrease in noticable ones.

***Topic restored***
Earthquakes continue to be an ongoing thing in the state of Oklahoma and are gradually growing in frequency and intensity. Whether or not this will eventually settle back down is unknown but believed to be very doubtful.

According to Matthew 24 we will see what has always been, earthquakes, plagues and other natural disasters and wars, but with more frequency. Which is what we see today. According to the Bible this will increase.

A quick update here, There were multiple earthquakes yesterday in the area. They were located in Cedar Valley and Jones Oklahoma. The earthquakes had a magnitude ranging from 2.2 to 3.4

Most people can not earthquakes that have a magnitude below 2.1
Animals on the other hand are extremely sensitive.
